Genting Highlands

Last Friday, the 18th of June. My mother took me to Genting Highlands by force. My big brother followed because my second brother can't come due to exam. Actually I didn't want to go anywhere during the holidays because I'm not use to going out. My dream is to only go to a place that has beach! Haha...

Anyway, on that Friday morning. I was told to wake up at 7am. But I overslept and woke up at 8am. So after eating nasi lemak as my breakfast, we left about 9am. We board the train until we reached KL Central. It's kind of weird, I always take train to go to some where. Wtf. In the train, there were seats. So I happily rest my legs, the cool air chills my hair at the back of my neck. So nice.

At KL Central, we were supposed to take a bus to Genting Highlands. Unfortunately, the bus is only available at 2pm. We will have to wait for  a few hours then. But It would be a waste of time If we waited for the bus. So, we have no choice but to take a taxi to Genting Highlands. Everything was set up, we just have to pay RM 25 per person. Total = RM 75 . The person in charged asked us to wait for 10 minutes to make a phone call. So, they both went to the toilets and then dropped by at the bread shop to buy hotdogs.

The guy then came running asking us to hurry as the taxi driver has arrived and is waiting for us. So we quickly made our way outside and head into the car. It was a Chinese old man. The smell of jasmine hanging in the taxi really made me puke. It was awful. But slowly, I got use to it and it was not a problem anymore.

The journey to Genting is quite long. The taxi driver was turning left and right because the road going up was curvy. After sometime, I noticed most of the cars had their window screen wind down. I was asking myself : '' Is it every car that passes this place will do like this?? '' We were going higher and higher, further up.

When we reached to our destination, I was wondering where was the cold air that everyone meant at Genting? In the taxi, I didn't felt that cold, it was normal. Just a slight chilling air. BUT, when I got out of the taxi, suddenly a strong wind blows me away. I almost fell to the ground. I was shaking. The air was SO COLD!! My teeth was shaking. Whole body is trembling. The cold is extreme. I can't stand at all.

My mother brought a lame old-fashioned type of swetter that doesn't help me out at all. Really, people was looking at me as If I'm mad. I was covering my whole body and still I felt so freaking cold. I was jealous of the small kids which still can afford to run around. There's a chinese girl, around my age, wore short skirt. I was like ''wtf'' , If I wore that, I will die on the spot.

I saw the clouds. It was moving so fast. It must be the wind that is blowing the clouds. I was hoping that the clouds stay still! Please! I don wan the air to touch me! I'm so cold! Oh yeah, my hands, became like ice, I don know how my face look like because I can't even take my hands out from the pockets in my shirt. It took a long time for me to get into the theme park. Actually I was standing just outside the theme park, waiting for my mother which went to make some enquiries.

She took as long as 30 minutes or more. I just can't accept her excuses. I was damn cold and I wanted to say '' Let's go home right now!! I can't stand it anymore !! ''. But, it will never happen. I was desperate at that time. So, that 30 minutes, I was left there, suffering... So we proceed by entering the theme park with a white paper tied to our wrists.

The first thing we did was, taking a look round the place. Then my brother was so eager to try out the go-kart. The queue was very long but my brother insisted. So, we waited until our turn has come. And after a long wait, I managed to get a chance to drive a car. Not car, kart? What the... It was fun. My kart was rather slow so I can't race with my brother. I chose the wrong kart actually. But there's no problem with my kart.

After that, I was feeling hungry. So, we went to Marry Brown's to have our lunch. We sat at the end to see the people on the spinner. I told myself I must go for the spinner. It sounds and looks fun. I would like to try. Well, It seriously shocks me. I thought I won't be coming back to my home sweet home. It was a thrilling disaster. If I went for the flying coaster, I would definitely won't come back home. I might die on the spot, in that thing!! With my head hanging upside down. LOL.

About the spinner, my gosh, it is not expected at all. I thought It was some kind of a baby ride. I am surprised to see old guys are going for this spinner thing. Some were screaming their wits out. It was crazy fun to watch from below. When It was spinning, I was so above the floor. It I wasn't locked up, I would fly out of there! It was dizzy, of course. The few spinning was a nightmare. Luckily It stop. I was relieved to be put back into my original position. My mother was closing her eyes. How embarrassing.

I went for the second time on the spinner. This time I was with my brother who dared not to take the challenge earlier. He was surely not so scared, but the beginning part was bad. This time, I closed my eyes! Well, it is much better. But I had a headache a while. My brother had nausea after that. We sat the mini train too. Which was quite boring. Erm, I think Genting has many things to try, but we just don have much time because we are going for a day only. Plus, the queue is long than ever. We have to wait approximately 1 hour. I don want that.

I wanted to try out the Sungai Rejang Flume Ride but I was discourage by the long queue. After everything, we went back. First, we took the skyway cable car down to the bus station. Then we booked tickets to Bukit Jalil because there are no tickets to KL Central. It was 4.15pm then. The bus is arriving at 5. So, I went up to hang around at the shops.

We dropped by at the Country's Tid-Bits & Candies Cottage. I grab some coconut slice since that is the only snack I enjoy. I'm supposed to buy herbal eggs because It taste good but some other thing attracted my eyes. Watches. I entered a watch shop. They sell many watches. The expensive branded ones like Casio, Elle and Bonia which worth about RM 436. I was stunned by the price. Anyway. Something caught my eye. A ring watch. I purchased one using my mother's money. RM15. It has a pink coloured heart shape carved on it, when you opened it, the clock is there. Very interesting. People can be so creative !

Then we head back to wait for the bus. It arrived at 5pm sharp. So, we board the bus. On the way, the traffic is congested. I was sick of looking at the cars and soon I felt asleep. At 5.30, we still haven't reached. At 6, finally, we reached Bukit Jalil. The place is packed with people! We took different trains. It was very confusing. I remembered. When taking the train from KL Central, the train had already arrived. While my mother and brother is running to catch the train, I, was walking happily, didn't noticed the train is right there.

When I turned around. There is not a single person waiting outside. All had gone into the train. I was like 'OMG!! RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!''. I tell you, I run as fast as the lightning strikes. Boy, I think If there's a running competition, I have already won. I tell you, I ran like so fast!! Luckily I managed to get a place in the train! People were looking at me as If I'm mad. Lol. Luckily also, my shoe didn't fall off. Or else. you know..

Reaching home, I saw kitty dating bell cat at the playground. How dare he! I went straight to grab kitty and brought him home. Naughty kitty! Anyway, I still have time to take a shower and watch 90210 after my dinner. Great! The conclusion is, I definitely have problems dealing with the coldness. My aunt say I don have enough fat. Actually, it make sense though, fat provides insulation under the skin from the cold and the heat. Lol! Where to get fat?!! Give me some fats!! But I hate eating fats. Yucks... -.-
