Girls Day Out

Yesterday (8th June 2010), was a day I will never forget! I never expected the whole outing will be so intense! I must tell the whole story!

The day before the outing, I was so excited. I couldn't sleep when night came. It was so hard for me to shut my eyes. In my head I imagined how much fun we gonna have the following day!

It's about 2am in the morning and I still can't sleep. Finally, after a few minutes, I managed to sleep (I think so). About 6am. I woke up. Oh! It's morning! I began to hang around. 6 is still early. At 6.45, I get myself prepared and waited for my friends arrival.

Almost 8am, my friends reached my house. Then we made our way to the train station. When we arrived, I was told that the train only stopped at Petaling because of electric failure. Tickets are only available to Petaling and we need to take an alternative way to our destination. So, I didn't know what to do. Finally, the 11 of us purchased tickets to Petaling. We then waited for the train to come. The train delayed a few minutes. Crowd started to formed but we still managed to pushed ourselves into the train.

However, when we almost reached Petaling, an announcement made that the train will stopped at Angkasapuri. The problem was, we all purchased tickets until Petaling. But we went further to Angkasapuri! We all planned to pay more once we reached there. But, there was no one taking care at the ticket scanning. And there was a free way to pass through. I was delighted! We do not need to pay the fare from Petaling to Angkasapuri! It's free!

We planned to take a bus from Angkasapuri to Mid Valley. It was raining then. But my friend Aisyah rode her father's car to Mid Valley along with a friend, Fatin. So Aisyah came and send us to Mid Valley, making two trips. We were thankful for that.

When we reached there, we head straight to MPH bookstore. The first shop we visited. It was huge. Bigger than I expected. One can get lost in there! I was happy to find the book I always wanted to buy. In the end, I purchased 3 books that cost RM 44.50. Then, we split into groups, 3 groups if I'm not mistaken.

I went everywhere If I'm not mistaken. Even though Mid Valley is bigger than Sunway Pyramid but I managed to cover up the whole place! It's incredible! But if compared to Sunway Pyramid, I think Sunway is much bigger? Popular stores like Miss Whatever and Girls, the prices can cause a hole in my pocket! I window shopped in stores like that.

We gathered once again and had lunch at the Food Junction.

I had chicken rice that worth RM8.90. It's tasty. I enjoyed it very much and I thought that it was all worth it. I was also messed up when it was time to pay. I became confused and start digging my purse for coins.. Exchanging cash with Umaira and so on. One thing I didn't realize was customers behind me are waiting to get their orders. LOL.

I did dropped by at Pets Wonderful after my friend, Huda told me to check it out. I rushed to see the place, wow, I said 'comel' / cute for 30 times? I bought chewy dog bones for Bruno and cat's toy for Kitty. Both of it bring a sum of RM19.05.

I made stops almost everywhere. At 3.30pm, a few of us decided to try out Sushi King. I ordered Kanikama (Crab meat), Unagi (Fish slice) and Ebi (Cooked prawns). The total is RM9.20. The crab meat is fresh and delicious! Thank goodness the green tea is charged for free! Anyway, the foods are cheap at Sushi King from 3pm - 5pm. I didn't realize it until I came out of the place and saw the banner. Haha.

Having nothing to do, just hanging around, I saw a camera shop. Canon! My eyes grew bigger as I see my dream Canon 550D sitting at a spot. I took a picture of it! But I was so eager to hold and touch that camera so my friends help me to set up everything and I managed to take a picture using THAT CANON 550D CAMERA! OMGGGGGOSH. THAT IS INDEED THE COOLEST THING I EVER DONE! Well, it will be a dream come true if I own that camera. I'm still waiting patiently. My dad can afford a camera worth RM3,113. I'm willing to sell of my old Olympus camera and my phone. There's no one texting
                  ISN'T SHE GORGEOUS ??? I LOVE YOU!!!

Almost heading back, I made my way to Baskin Robbins' because I know the ice-cream there is super tasty. My dad bought me one before and from that day on, I must taste some Baskin Robbins! Huhu. It ain't cheap by the way. A small scoop that worth RM 5.80. Crazy! Walls ice-cream (1.5 litre) only costs around that price and I'm only buying a single scoop.
After getting myself a Baskin Robbins, it's time to go home...
AND THAT IS WHEN THE HORROR STARTS

We bought tickets and waited at the Mid Valley station. The train came and we went in.............
When......... we........... reached............. KL.................. CENTRAL.................... ............................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.........

MY DAD WOULD BE WONDERING. ''WTF, FROM JUST NOW TILL NOW YOU'RE STILL AT KL CENTRAL?'' WTF'''

THE THIRD TRAIN ARRIVED. I WAS SO EXHAUSTED. THERE WAS NO FRESH AIR. ALL THE TIME I WAS BREATHING OTHER PEOPLE'S AIR. GOSH. IT IS TERRIBLE.

THE TIME KEPT TICKING. FROM 7, TO 7.30 THEN CAME 8, 8.30, 8.45, WE KEPT WAITING AND WAITING.

MORE AND MORE PEOPLE GATHERED AND THE STATION IS PACKED! AND AGAIN
ANOTHER TIME WE MISSED THE TRAIN!!! THE THIRD FREAKING TIME!! OH MAN!!!! I SAID!! I WANTED TO SCRATCH THE TRAIN WITH MY NAILS BUT I CAN'T DO IT! I SHOUTED AT THE POLICE GUY, HE HEARD ME BUT I WAS LIKE ''WHO THE HELL CARES???''

THE TIME NOW ALMOST 9PM. 9PM!!! 9 AT NIGHT!! AND WE, THE 10 OF US, STILL STANDING THERE LIKE COWS. MY LEGS ARE IN PAIN AND I'M TREMBLING! I'M HUNGRY! THE FOURTH TRAIN I MAKE SURE I PUSHED MYSELF INTO THE TRAIN REGARDLESS OF THE OLD PEOPLE WHATSOEVER. LUCKILY, WE MANAGED TO PULLED THROUGH

REACHED HOME ALMOST 9.30 NIGHT. WELL, I DIDN'T GET MUCH SCOLDING. MY MOM TAKES THE TRAIN EVERYDAY. SHE KNOWS IT. NO NEED FURTHER EXPLANATION.

IT WAS A TIRING DAY. A DAY FULL OF PATIENCE. WOW. WHAT A GREAT DAY! A DAY I WOULD REMEMBER, FOREVER!
