A trip to Parlimen
Today, was a very interesting day. My school organized a trip to the Parlimen.
Some students are selected to visit the parlimen while the rest went to UPM, UiTM, and space course.
The bus arrived and we departed at 8.40am.
We reached there around 9.30am.
The journey is filled with Fathiyah's laughter, as usual. It was for the first time, all eyes witnessed the politicians speaking. What I've seen will always remain in mind.
It was something I've never seen before. I felt like I was in the television. Cause I always see this ''parliament thing'' on TV, and I've never thought that I'll be there, watching and observing every single thing that was happening.
It was unusual. I am happy to be one of the students who came here. My friends and I spent an hour in that hall. I suddenly felt a little boring and sleepy cause they were just talking, but in the end, I felt that It will all worth it.
The most incredible thing was, I got an autograph of a reporter from NTV 7. Her name is Melissa Ong. Maybe some of you know her, or maybe not. Those who don't watched 7 Edition would not know her.
I like her, she speaks fluent English and even though she is a Chinese, she doesn't have that Chinese accent. There's another, Pang Chinn Fei, from TV3, also, a very professional Malaysian news reader. She speaks fluent Bahasa.
I like these two. But unfortunately, I only met Melissa at the Parliament. She was so busy. Her face looks familiar when I saw her there, luckily Fathiyah know her too, and confirmed that she is Melissa. And I was like ''Let's get her autograph!'', Faths agreed.
Melissa managed to give her autograph to 5 of us even though she is so busy. It's a waste for not taking a picture. What to do? Cameras are not allowed in that place. I had lots of fun there!
Some of the politicians look familiar. When I reached home, I quickly switched on the Tv and turn to TV3, and there it is. What happened in the morning has been recorded and published on TV! Hey, I was there! I've seen it already! Haha! Cool man... Below are the photos taken outside the Parliament. For more, head on down to Umaira's or Aisyah's page. Enjoy!
