Unexpected.

Today I was so reluctant to go to school because I had a sore throat. My throat was in pain... It was 6.40am , and I was still thinking whether I should go to school. I'm not really brave to play truant alone. Plus, there will be so much problems if I don't go to school. I don't want to miss a thing. I don't want to ask my friends what happened as what is said is guaranteed less or inaccurate. (You obviously cannot recall every word that the teacher said) I want to see things for myself. So after thinking hard, I decided to just go to school. Giving an excuse of having 'sore throat' is just an excuse. Everything except my throat is fine. I don't want to make it a habit for not attending school just over small issues.

Anyway, today, I can say that I was lucky. What's so unexpected? Well, I received an advance birthday gift from the school! A flower, a notebook with a pen. Oh, not just that, I gained popularity too. Lol. :D So how it all started.... During assembly, I was innocently sitting there reading my notes... The teacher that took over the event on the stage was so serious, he called about 5 secondary school students on stage. And in a really serious way, he said, these students that I'm about to call out please come on stage. Must. IMMEDIATELY. (Dengan segera). He said it twice. And I'm like... Ok... I see prefects being called... What have they done? Then the teacher called a boy from my form. I was smiling because he had to go up, little did I know, the minute after his name was called, MY NAME WAS NEXT!!! AND I WAS LIKE, What did I do wrong??????! Only the two of us. I know we had the same birthday but I totally didn't expect this. Gosh. I walked up on stage, everyone was looking. This was so embarrassing. But I was used to it. Still, my heart was beating so fast. I had no time to do my hair and I was thinking what did I do wrong.

Then we all lined up on stage, and the teacher was talking and explaining and I wasn't even listening because I was shocked, and he finally got to his point... Our birthdays!! Oh I was so surprised. So the whole crowd sang the 'May the Good Lord bless you' song, in Malay version. I was so stunned. Haha. Then I received my gifts and kisses from the pk. Gosh. Good thing though, everyone knows my birthday now. I'm indeed so lucky. Thanks, school! I appreciate it very much :) Can't believe this ! :)
