Road run 2013
Firstly, I started late!! Damn it. I was going to the staff room to hide my camera, when I rushed down, the race already started. I never heard the sound of the gun. And why did it begin so fast? I was so unaware. When I made my way through the crowd of boys waiting for their turn, I didn't see any sign of the girls. SO I ran further in front, just to see the crowd running. I and my classmates, were the last one running at the back. There was a distance. I was like, Omgosh how am I suppose to be in the top 5. :/
So I slowly jogged, managed to cut a bunch of people secondary school students. They were like 'Go Kak!'. Lol. I couldn't be bothered but I was happy I had some support. Unlike some people that said they agreed to come give support but didn't show up. The boys at the back were coming in between. After a while, my stomach was in pain. Gosh. It was so pain. I prayed that it will stop because it's affecting my performance. I couldn't run, I walked. Then I ran, and walked, and ran and walked, overtaking a few pre-u students. I didn't think I could make it as I was left far behind.
I really lost my hope of getting first place, or even the top 5. I didn't really push myself hard. Just a little. I have no confidence because I started late. When reaching in the compound, I saw this Indian girl running, she is a good runner, and I thought, ok I must be the unlucky number 6. Then, I walked in, nearing the finishing line, others were far behind from me, I saw the time keeper and a few people standing there and waving their hands, asking me to hurry. When I reached, they recorded my time, I looked and saw that I got number 4. HOOYEAH ALLELUIA THANK GOD I MANAGED TO BE IN THE TOP 5. I was damn lucky.
K. My classmates were great. They helped to take my photos on stage. Hehe. I was so scared to go on stage. My heart was beating so fast. Lol. Now, I'm so tired. I'm gonna take a rest! Bye people!
