Beyond expectations..
Today my school celebrated teacher's day. I don't know where to start... I just want to say that this is the best teacher's day celebration ever. The best! One thing is that I am so impressed about the performances. Really awesome! I've never expected or seen anything like this before!!! I had a great time. Comparing it to my previous school, there is a huge difference. My previous school have some boys with thick faces that go on stage with guitars, but they don't have the voice to sing, which I think is embarrassing. They don't sing with a voice, they sing like anyone can, rock music. Rock music is just like shouting... It's painful to hear... The boy band that performed just now, OMG... They have the voice... It's beautiful... Nice to hear it...
The whole event is really impressive, entertaining and exciting. For the first time, I didn't feel bored or sleepy. I just felt hungry and pain in the butt. I have nothing left in my butt. My butt is dead. Sitting on pokey roads and chairs for hours, OhMY... My butt bones are pain and will break soon... This is a problem because I can't sit anymore. Anyway, what I saw was talented students and extremely sporting teachers...
I felt entertained, definitely. I have seen straight faces into big smiles, laughs and just happy faces everywhere. Plus we were given a free chocolate. Our class teacher gave us one each. Even though the chocolate doesn't taste as nice as those expensive ones, I felt happy. Others were stretching out their hands to reach the chocolate, all with smiles. My previous school never give us anything. We just come to school and be the audience. While this, the headmistress congratulate us with such high spirit saying that they appreciate us coming to celebrate teacher's day.
It was so lively you know... The performances started off with silat. Wonderful! I like!! And then I started imagining... WTF... Silat boys? The teachers from different committees each have to perform something. One of the games are musical chairs for teachers, well you all know it's always exciting to see the last two standing.. Many sang popular songs. One group of teachers turned the 'Kalau berpacaran' song into 'Kalau nak pandai' which is such a great idea. They had lots of ideas.
Some students did a traditional dance, I think it's cool.
There is also role playing. Teachers used names like Brad Pitt, Selena Gomez, and even sang what seem like Christmas song and had a USA flag bag. Some of the upper six students, of Malays and Indians danced the popular Indian song 'Why this Kolaveri'. LOL. Nice. Then towards the end they had the 80's daddy cool song, teachers wearing masks and big curly hairs dancing on stage, also a teacher singing Gadis Melayu. There are so many great performances... A form 3 student singing 'Terukir di Bintang'. Two different boys sang two different songs. One is made by himself entitled 'Gadis Penipu' which is really 'HAHA' LMFAO somehow it has a meaning there. Good idea! The other sang a popular song but I don't know what's that but everyone sang along, OMG what a voice, so sweet kind, very melodious.
I didn't think that I wasted my time at school today. I wanted to skip but I thought why not just go. I am the only one wearing red flats. But oh, it was exciting. I enjoyed!!!
Oh oh not to forget, also there are two announcers. Two boys. Very sporting. They make great partners.
