It all started like this, 

A few days ago, I was searching for the star online article of Shahrul Anum Baharin. Then, on the same page, I saw her facebook address. So, I click it to see if it's her. And, I saw her picture, it was quite different from the picture I saw in the star newspaper. But never mind. It is her. It written there about SPCA staff. So, I can confirmed that she is Shahrul Anum Baharin.

Then, I didn't know what made me send a message to her... I can't add her if she don approve me. So, I decided to send a message. The button is just right below the request. I was excited, knowing that she has facebook. It's easy to contact. Lol. Wth

Below is what I sent to her.

Hi Shahnul, I read your article on the Star newspaper that day. I was fascinated by your story. I am an animal lover too. I am 16 years old. I love animals as much as you do. Well, what I love most about you is that you care for both cats and dogs. I love your determination. You are a Muslim right? And you still treat dogs. How cool . I have a dog for 6 years and recently I took back a kitten which is homeless. There are many stray dogs at my area that had been taken away. It’s very heartbreaking. I’ll try my best to help as many as I can, by feeding them. 

I thought that she wouldn't reply that fast. Or maybe she wouldn't even care to reply. Cause she's a busy woman. Haha. But, I was surprised that she reply in just 2 days ! Very very shocked ! I felt so excited I starting screaming and shouting. ''OMGOSSHHH, THAT GIRL IN THE NEWSPAPER IS TALKING TO ME!!!!!'' I'M SO PROUD!! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

I am very glad to know another person who i passionate about animals.

Yes, I am a Muslim. As a person, I would say Malaysia is a beautiful country with a lot of unique people. Religion is not the problem, its the people.

When ever it comes to dogs issue, its a taboo for the Malays, not the Muslim. There's a lot of my Malay friends who have dogs too.

Being truthful to ourselves is really important if we want to help the animals. There's no point hiding behind the religion for "just because".

A lot of people has misconception about helping and "haram". We really need to go further in search of facts and truth about dogs. Most people don't care to even educate themselves about it. "Haram" is the only thing they know... why or how is it haram... they cant give you the actual answer.

There's a lot of things to be learn in life. If we limit ourselves due to religion... we will never ever move forward in life.
